“ Your Paw Squad” provides a convenient, stress free alternative to boarding your pets and leaving your home unattended while you are traveling, busy at work, or away for the day.
Our personally tailored service allows your animals to stay in their normal surroundings and on their normal routines, stress free and safe from exposure to diseases. We offer you peace of mind knowing your animals and home are in able and loving hands.
For your protection, “Your Paw Squad” Pet Sitting is fully insured. We are a member of Professional United Pet Sitters, LLC. Our coverage includes the well being of your pets and your property while in our care. We invite you to tour our web site and see what having a pet sitter can mean for you and your pets!
Initial “Get Acquainted” visit – FREE
“Your Paw Squad” team will come and meet you and your furry family. You get to show us all the necessary routines that will insure we do a wonderful job for you and your pet(s).
• We’ll come by and meet the fabulous pet family (and of course their people too.)
• You’ll show us the lay of the land so to speak - where all of their things are.
• You’ll familiarize us with all the routines: feeding, medicines, supplements, walks, favorite things, not so favorite things, behaviors, etc.
• We’ll pick up 2 sets of keys (one can be garage door opener) to the house & the completed paperwork and deposit if required. (See “Payment” area below)
• This visit usually last about 30 minutes to an hour – whatever it takes!
We ask that if you arrive home either on schedule, or earlier, please contact us to let us know that you are home. There have been instances when our client has not been able to come home as planned and their pet(s) were left in the home for a day or two without anyone to care for them. So, as part of our quality service, unless you, the client calls us, we will go and perform our duties as usual so there will be no chance that your pet(s) may go without care. Regular fees will be charged.
If you are satisfied with our services and feel that you will use our services again, we have available our "Safe Key Program". It is convenient for you and provides protection for your pet(s). With this program, you simply call to make a reservation and you won't have to worry about meeting with “Your Paw Squad" to give us a key. Going to be late getting home, or last minute dinner reservations and need for us to let your dog(s) out and/or feed them, no problem! Just give us a call and we will take care of them! We will keep the (2) keys in a safe and they will be coded for your protection when they are not in use. This program will also protect your pet(s) in case there is an emergency with one of our sitters from the “Your Paw Squad” and they are not able to perform their duties. We can send one of our other responsible pet sitters to care for your pet(s).
“Your Paw Squad” Pet Sitting Services include…
• Average 30 minutes per visit (additional time for more than two pets)
• Playtime/walks
• Feeding and refreshing pet water
• Cleaning food and water dishes
• Refreshing/cleaning cat litter box
• Mail - newspaper collection
• Plant watering
• Alternating lights - shades/blinds
• Detailed notes about our visits
• Taking out the trash on scheduled trash day
• Administration of medications (There is no charge for oral or
topical medications, or drops)
• Insulin and other injections are billed at $2 per injection.
• Other additional requests will be considered at time of interview
• Our visits can be provided at any time of the day - morning, midday and evening!
• Let us know of any fun activities or rituals your dog likes to do or
is used to such as getting a treat after a walk or going outside, playing
ball or fetch etc. Favorite balls, toys to play with.
Rates for “Your Paw Squad” Full Service:
Dogs:
• 1 daily visit = $15
• 2 daily visits = $25
• 3 daily visits = $35
Cats & Other Small Animals Only (hamsters, fish, birds, etc) :
• 1 daily visit = $10
• 2 daily visits = $18
• 3 daily visits = $25
Livestock and horses: fees to be determined during initial visit.
"Your Paw Squad" Mini Visit:
Our “Mini Visit” service is for those needing a shorter visit. This is a 15-minute pet visit that allows for feeding/water, scooping litter, and a potty break.
Rates for “Your Paw Squad” Mini Visit - 15-minute Pet Visit Services:
Dogs:
• 1 daily visit = $10
• 2 daily visits = $20
• 3 daily visits = $28
Cats & other small animals:
• 1 daily visit = $8
• 2 daily visits = $15
• 3 daily visits = $20
*There is an extra charge for mileage that is over 10 miles from ou rhome. Currently this charge is $0.50 per mile. This fee is subject to change at any time without prior notice.
“Your Paw Squad” Dog Walking Services:
Let “Your Paw Squad” help you by providing your dog with a walk and potty break. Your dog will have a walk, on leash, in your neighborhood. Our dog walking service includes:
• 30-minute walk
• Refresh water bowl
• Pet waste cleanup during walk
• Provide treat, if owner desires
Rates for Dog Walking:
• 30-minute walk = $15
• Additional dogs in household are FREE if walked at the same time.
• 30-minute walk (additional dog walked separately) = $15
“Your Paw Squad” Overnight Pet Care:
We do provide in-home overnight sitting in your home. Your pet(s) will remain in the comfort of their own home while following their normal routine and diet. This type of care is much better for most pets. It elleviates the stress of boarding and being away from their home. It also eliminates the possibility of being exposed to illness and disease.
Overnight sitting in your home includes our full-service pet visit; walks, feeding, pet waste cleanup while on walks and litter boxes, bringing in mail, taking out trash, watering plants, etc.and giving your pe(s)t lots of love and attention. Overnight pet care is a flat fee of $55.00 per night and covers a 12 hour period. During the day, you will receive a 20% discount off our regular 3 visit drop in rate of $35.00, = $28.00. Please understand that we may come and go during the daytime hours, but your pet(s) will have the same regular care. We may offer a discounted rate for 7 or more days, depending upon the time of year.

Reservations:
Reservations are requested a minimum of 3 days in advance. New clients may want to consider more than three days to allow time to schedule a free initial consultation. A service agreement form must be completed and signed for each visit. Reservation requests can be made by e-mail, but must be verbally confirmed by telephone or email by “Your Paw Squad”.
If you're stuck at work and can't get home in time to let your dog out, give us a call. We usually can accommodate Last Minute Services.
Short Notice Visits or Stays :
Last minute travel plans? Give us a call. We will do our very best to accomodate your needs! A small one time fee may apply.
Payments:
Reservations confirmed by “Your Paw Squad” by phone or email will be honored without deposit (except for holidays); payment in full will be required 2 days prior to the start of service for new clients; we will call or email you to confirm your reservations 48 hours prior to scheduled service. Reservations for holiday periods will require a $50 deposit to hold reservation, with remaining payment due, in full, 2 days prior to the start of scheduled service. A $2/day surcharge will apply to any service that is not paid before the start of service. Returning customers may leave a check, along with a signed service agreement for the pet sitter, on the counter in your home.
. We accept cash, checks, and credit card payments using Paypal.
Payments for regularly scheduled dog walking services can be paid weekly or monthly at time of service, no deposit required.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Reservations cancelled 10+ days prior to service - 100% REFUND
Reservations cancelled 4-7 days prior to service - 80% REFUND
Reservations cancelled 3 days or less prior to service - NO REFUND
Regularly scheduled dog walking services cancelled a minimum of 24 hours in advance will not be charged.
Drop-In Service Hours:
Our scheduled drop-in service hours are 6am - 9pm daily. We do our best to accommodate special time requests, but cannot always guarantee specific time slots. Priority is always given to pets that require special medical attention and medication.
Holidays
There is an additional flat fee of $10.00 on the following Holidays:

Sick Pets:
Sick pets should be under the care of your regular veterinarian. We will not schedule service for pets who are known to be sick. We are happy to provide service to pets who require medications or have special requirements or needs, such as very young or elderly pets.
Minimum Service Levels
While you are away we want to make sure that your pets are comfortable, happy, healthy, and very well cared for. In order to do tha,t “Your Paw Squad” Pet Sitting Service has strict guidelines that will help us achieve this goal.
Cats - Cats are known to be able to care for themselves quite well but cats are also known to develop illnesses suddenly and are able to hide their symptoms very well. To protect your cat(s) our minimum number of daily visits will be one. We feel if it is less than that we will not be able to give your cat(s) the quality care that they require and will not be able to check on them to ensure there are no drastic changes in their eating or behavior.
Dogs - Dogs are not like cats and need more care and attention. In order to give your dog(s) the care and attention that they need, we recommend at least 3 visits per day. The more visits per day, the less bored your dog(s) are likely to become and this may help prevent the dog(s) from causing damage to your furniture and help prevent potty accidents in your house.
We reserve the right to refuse any service at any time should a pet sitter feel uncomfortable or that he or she is in a dangerous situation for either the pet sitter or the pet(s).
Livestock - The number of visits depends upon the way the animals are housed. Pastured animals may require only one daily visit, but animals in stalls or corrals may require 2.
